Use/Good point

This apparatus is suitable to estimate the softness of woven or knitted and car-sheet fabrics.
Place the specimen on the horizontal table with 45°slope on one side and a smooth surface. So as to align the short end of the specimen with the base line of the scale. Then, slide the specimen towards the slope at a constant speed, and read the moving distance of one side as the other end comes in contact with the slope. The degree of softness is determined by the moving distance of the specimen.
It employs the motor driven sliding to send specimen at a constant speed, and use photo-electric sensor to detect the contact point so as to measure the moving distance automatically.
The moving speed of the specimen can be preset at 5 mm／sec or 10 mm／sec, and the result can be printed out.
