This apparatus is used to the flammability of textiles or carpets. Our tester is applicable to the JIS L-1091(Testing Method for Flammability of Clothes), and is approved by the Japan Fire Retardant Association at the year 1988.
The prepared specimen is held at the angle of 45 degrees, standardized flame is applied to the surface at the flaming chamber. The operator checks to see whether the specimen has caught fire, and record the flaming, after flaming, after glow-time.
After the burning test, the char length of the specimen is measured.
