Use/Good point

This is used mainly to estimate the color fastness of dyed fabrics against washing.
A composite test specimen is made with the dyed cloth and the attached white cloth. It is then put into the tester together with laundry liquid and processed under the specified conditions.
The resulting extends of fading of color of the test specimen and the degree of stain of the attached white piece of cloth is respectively compared with the gray scale to determine the fastness of colors.
The tester has a tank and auxiliary tub. An electric heater regulates the tank temperature.
