Use/Good point
This apparatus is used for measuring the tearing resistance of textile, paper, and other sheets. It is constructed according to the JIS and employs the pendulum method. After clamping one specimen or several specimens in chuck, test specimens are torn by dropping a specified energy weight, and its resistance is read by scale.
