This tester is used to determine the tendency of fabrics to form pills or fuzz under test conditions intended to simulate normal wear. It employs the B method of JIS L 1076. This procedure is generally applicable to all types of apparel fabrics including both knitted and woven fabrics.
The tester consists of a metal cylinder and rotating impeller installed in the cylinder. Put the test piece into the cylinder, and the rotating impeller turns at a certain time. Compare the pilling state with the normal state, hereby to determine the pilling resistance rate.
The turning speed is controlled by interval, and you can adjust the turning speed simply and accurately through the digital display.
